The Atlantic Campaigns office have announced Michelle’s expected arrival into English Harbour, Antigua as approximately midnight (local time) on Monday 18 February. She is slowly working her way to becoming Australia’s First Female Woman to row SOLO across the Atlantic Ocean.
She is very exhausted yet extremely determined to get to the finish line. She has again cleaned the bottom of her boat to get rid of the dreaded freeloaders (pipis) and is rowing at 1.4kts. Now is a critical time as anxiety and excitement melts together in her mind. Her body is fatigued from exertion, exposure to wild weather and constant domestic duties which are mandatory of any boat. She’s struggling however she can feel the end is very close and is going to power onto to the very end.
